Bike Scientific Discussion 2025 – Conference Kickoff Ride Join us for a scenic cycling tour through the heart of South Moravia on Saturday, October 4^th, from 11:00 to 17:00, as we kick off the conference with fresh air, gentle hills, and vineyard views. This informal ride blends nature, culture, and conversation—perfect for warming up both legs and minds.

Route Overview – Bike Scientific Discussion 2025

• Start at Hotel Galant (note: cyclists must avoid the town square; alternative route will be arranged on site)
• Connect to the Freedom Trail cycle path
• Climb toward the Czech–Austrian border
• Descend through vineyards to Úval on a road with a bike lane
• Uphill ride to the Reistna colonnade
• Downhill into Valtice, passing Chateau Valtice (includes a lookout tower and Wine Barn)
• Through Valtice (refreshment options at the town square), then via cycle path past the cemetery into the Lednice–Valtice area
• Stop at Rendez-vous
• Visit St. Hubert
• Stop at the Three Graces monument
• Continue via bike path past Lednice ponds to Hlohovec and the Border Chateau (refreshments available)
• Ride along Nesyt pond to Sedlec (refreshments available at Sedlec Winery)
• Climb from Sedlec to Mušov, then descend to Mušov pond
• Pass through Vican Winery (refreshments available)
• Gentle climb along vineyard edges to the Mikulov Quarry
• Finish back at Hotel Galant

Hotel Galant offers bicycle storage for conference participants. If you don't have your own bike, you can rent one directly through the hotel. Reservations are handled by the hotel reception.

Social evening

The social evening will take place in the wine cellar, Brewery of the Hotel Galant, and Cabernet hall.

The evening will include a buffet dinner with drinks. For members of the Czech Society for Analytical Cytometry, attendance at the social event on Sunday is free – paid from the funds of the Society for Analytical Cytometry.

Non-members can purchase a ticket to the event for the price of 800 CZK (via the registration form).

Tickets to the social event and welcome drink for accompanying persons can be purchased for 1 800 CZK via the conference registration system.

Pub quiz

The Czech Young Immunologists and the Czech Society of Analytical Cytometry would like to invite you to a quiz full of questions that are scientific but in a bit different way. The pub quiz will take place on Monday, October 6^th (from 7:30 PM to approx. 9:30 PM), in the restaurant of Hotel Galant. Join us for this memorable evening full of science that will be discussed from different points of view in great company of friendly scientists, good food and drinks. Moreover, the best 3 teams get to win valuable prizes provided by our sponsor, Exbio.

All conference attendees are welcome. However, due to technical reasons, the capacity is limited to the first 50 registered participants.

In case you do not have a team yet and you would like to find new friends on-site, do not worry - you can register even on your own and find your team as part of the initial teambuilding that we will organize right before the start of the quiz.
